Prices and Taxes All prices are inclusive of VAT. Payment Terms Non-refundable rates are payable at the time of booking, failure to pay may result in your booking being cancelled, even at short notice. Rates are subject to change without notice. Additional extras are available and must be requested directly to the hotel by email or booking via online check in or the guest app and are payable at the time of booking the extras. Reservation Policies Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. We will charge your credit card within 24 hours after we have confirmed your reservation. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking. Room Policy We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. The hotel allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. Sing your heart out and have passionate conversation all day long, but from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time). Traveling with Minors The hotel accepts minors over the age of 12 years old provided they are accompanied by an adult who is a parent or guardian. Accessibility or Special Needs Should guests have any special needs, please email your request prior to booking so the hotel can confirm. Extras - Parking, early check in, late check out, luggage storage Early check in, late check out, parking, luggage storage are all chargeable, these extras can be booked by emailing the hotel, online check in or through the guest app. Charges are subject to change without notice and payable at the time of booking. Parking Policy We want your stay to be stress-free and for that reason, private off street parking is available for £20.00 per night per vehicle. By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. But guess what? We’ve got state-of-the-art surveillance cameras watching over the parking lot so, should anything seem amiss, let us know, and we’ll check out the footage. And if you plan on leaving your car in our parking lot for a while, not problem, just let us know, as we reserve the right to tow vehicles. Guest Safety Policy As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Dispute Resolution/Problems Should guests experience problems during their stay, the hotel requests that guests in the first instance contact the hotel first so the hotel can aim to resolve these. Complaints/problems can be emailed also to info@cambridgehousehotel.co.uk If a guest is currently staying, and the problem is unresolvable, provided the guest does not stay, the accommodation night (or remaining nights will be refunded). Guests should note the hotel does not offer discounts, compensation, refunds, after the guest has departed. Should a compensation or refunded be granted, the hotel deems this as full and final settlement, therefore the hotel does not permit any review on any online review site or offline review site. If this is not adhered to the hotel may pursue legal action. In the event that the hotel must cancel a reservation in advance a full refund will be issued, or an alternative date offered. the hotel does not offer compensation for advance cancellations issued by the hotel. Use of Personal information The Hotel respects the right to privacy of every individual who visits our site or mobile site. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you, and your rights to access and correct the personal information we hold about you. Please see the hotel Privacy Policy section for more information. Liability Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, an hotel proprietor may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff of the hotel. This liability however—(a)extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the hotel;(b)is limited to £50 for any one article and a total of £100 in the case of any one guest, except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody;(c)does not cover motor-cars or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals. This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to this hotel or that liability thereunder attaches to the proprietor of this hotel in any particular case.
